In 2019, Microsoft funded nearly $24 million towards a major expansion to their Charlotte office. The Charlotte Campus encompasses two buildings on 22 acres and is home to 1,600 employees from business groups that include Microsoft US (sales, marketing, and customer success), Customer Experience & Services, several software engineering teams, and other operations groups.

Valuebiz was chosen in a rigorous selection process as a furnishings vendor on this massive project. Our team of designers and product experts worked to curate finishes and furniture needs that worked to bring the vision of this space to life. The goal was to create a unique, colorful, and vibrant space that fostered creative workflow and positive energy. VBI pulled together multiple furniture options and alternate options using our unique boutique approach and 30 years of industry experience to complete this project. VBI provided all furniture needs for the new building, which included private office spaces, flexible remote working/coworking spaces, multiple conference rooms, several small media rooms, multiple reception and lounge areas, and bar areas.

Microsoft Charlotte prides itself on fostering a positive and inspiring workplace experience that rivals that of the Redmond Campus. Much of this is a direct result of Valuebiz' partnership with Microsoft in achieving an environment that employees love to be in.
