Established in 1845, the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD is one of the nation's most prestigious academic institutions. The second oldest of the five U.S. service academies, it educates midshipmen for service in the officer corps of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps.
The new USNAAAF building was envisioned as a multi-purpose gathering space, meant to replace 3 old existing buildings on the Academy's campus. The new center has ample workspace for the Alumni Association and its fundraising Foundation. It also features multiple indoor and outdoor settings for alumni events, including lectures, banquets, weddings, tailgates, remote-working areas, and a comfortable bar for gathering.
Upon being selected as a vendor, Valuebiz and our team of designers and product experts worked alongside the Naval Academy representatives to curate finishes and furniture needs that worked to bring the vision of this space to life. VBI pulled together multiple furniture options and alternate options using our unique boutique approach and 30 years of industry experience to complete this project. VBI provided all furniture needs for the new building, which included private office spaces, flexible remote working/coworking spaces, multiple conference rooms, multiple reception and lounge areas, bar areas, banquet halls, and outdoor lounge areas as well.
